Well, it's better then the alternative.

As most of you know I've been really sick the last couple of days. High fever with chills, followed by heavy sweats. A headache has accompanied it from the beginning but I've had no other signs. No sore throat, cough, runny nose. I missed Lily's play and nearly missed Isaac's. This morning I woke up after only a few hours feeling as sick as ever. Dave and I both decided it might be a secondary infection so he took me to the instacare. Which promply sent us to the E.R. The were really concearned I might have menengitis. I don't (just so you know) but I've had a C.T. scan, blood drawn, more morphine then I've had since Clara was born and a spinal tap. (Dave and I thought a game like Tapper would be fun with patients lined up to get spinal taps). Finally they couldn't find out what was wrong but they know something is so they decided to admit me. I had a M.R.I. with chills so bad I could hardly keep my legs still on their way to take me to my room. I'm now resting alone in room 4047 and if you want info call the poudre valley hospital with the code word physics. They've got me on antibiotics and morphine still. I'm hoping I can have a better night than last night but I'm guessing not. I just wanted to give everyone a update. I know this is kind of jumbled but I didn't have any other way of telling anyone. I love you all and I hope to talk to you soon.

Well - that's not very good news. Dang! I'll be worrying about you, because that's what Moms do. Try to get better soon...but, at least it's not meningitis. I'll try to comfort myself with that thought.
