We got back from Utah and spent the next couple of weeks recovering. Dave ended up with a terrible tooth ache that needed surgery and I ended up just getting plain old sick.
Dave turned 33 on the 19th of January. We had a great day even though it was fairly simple. His friends up at work baked cup cakes for him and a couple other guys who had their birthday the same week. I know you probably can't tell but they did all kind of geeky/sci-ency/nerdy stuff on the cupcakes.

Our Anniversary is also in January on the 29th and we ended up spending that with our kids. We went out to eat at a local buffet place (our kids favorite) and talked about how our family began. It was really a nice night.
The following day on the 30th the older kids had a school musical review. They called it "The Madrigal performance". Lily had learned a guitar part and Isaac's class sang this silly song about a cow and pig dancing. They seemed to have a great time and hopefully the school raised a lot of money for the music program. Lily is coming along really well on the guitar and both of them are great singers. I also got a chance to talk with many of the other parents and everyone had nothing but praise for our kids. I love our school because our kids aren't misfits they're stars.

Here is a link to a video of Lily playing the guitar.
