We got Rock Band for Christmas and it was the best thing we ever did. I've never seen more people join together in the name of ROCK. Our kids have gotten really good and we have had more time together in the last two weeks then we've had together in months (of course Christmas break probably had something to do with that).
Lily and Isaac practiced for hours
together, with little or no fighting.
My mom really rocked out singing Boston. We also having been spending a lot of time talking to the kids about what music was popular when we were kids.
We came back one day and found my mom playing drums. She was really good too. I guess I know where Lily got her rhythm (because it's not from me).
Candie & Kevin rocking out at Dave's Moms house. It was great to see Kevin getting involved in games with other people. If anyone wants to try you are welcome to come over and play, it's an instant party!

It looks like so much fun! Candie was telling me you were all having fun playing video games. And it looks like you finally found a game Kevin will play with other people (besides Time Splitters--remember that one? With the fire tag game?). :)
Lily really does have great rhythm. I still can't believe how well she plays the drums! The rest of you were awesome, too. I think I'll just stick with the bowling. :)
Bowling was great too. I really liked the Wii. Maybe that's what I'll ask Santa for next year.
I'm so glad you captured a moment with Kevin participating and enjoying it!! Rare!! He usually is the Pooper at every party.
That was so much fun. I can't wait to do it again!
Rock Band looks like a blast! Great pics! Glad it was such a hit! I've tried guitar hero and I was terrible at it, but it was lots of fun! We have dance dance revolution and we all love watching each other dance it up!
We will have to try rock band. Rock On!
