They finally got our playhouse cleaned out. We spent $10 on a foam couch and put in a couple of chairs and a table. It turned out really well. The kids spend a lot of time rearranging the furniture to make it perfect.

They got Dave a mini pool table for Christmas but what could make a playhouse more perfect then a pool table.

This is Darth Spiderman. He has come to crush your spirits and take pictures of it.

Since Dave hasn't gotten around to putting up the monkey bars I decided to post pictures of the finished playground. I think it turned out really well.

The Swings are awesome. They go so much higher then the lame swings at the school. You can really hurt yourself on these swings and I promise, Isaac has tried.

There is a ladder on each side to climb up. The green slide is wooden and the yellow slide side is metal bars. At some point we are going to get some handles because Clara isn't very good at climbing them but refuses to wait for someone to help her up.

This is what our patio looks like now. We got some plastic furniture and a cover for our wooden structure (I don't know how else to say that). We cook and eat outside a lot. I thought Dave was crazy for insisting to bring his gas grill, which I have lovely nicknamed destructo. (Only because it shot flames out the bottom when we first got it). We love our back yard and we are really glad we have a place that the kids can play.

It looks so great!! You should charge admission!!
That playground really is great! You should ask your landlord if you could get one month's free rent for adding that to the property--or do you plan on unassembling it and taking it with you?
I don't know if Dave can leave it. But I think taking it apart would be a lot worse the just building one from scratch.
What a fun playground. You all did a great job. I can't wait to come and play on it!
Hmmmm, a barbecue grill that shoots flames out the bottom. Maybe Dave could figure out a way to put some jet fuel in and send it into space. He might get the Nobel Prize or get arrested or something.
Dave, do you have a metal barrel you could put at the bottom of the slide to go through? It's great for giving people black eyes--remember Kevin? Maybe you were too young to remember that, but I'm sure you've heard the story.
Oh, who would be mean enough to make their little brother try out the slide/barrel combo first?
Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time...
The playground and playhouse look fun!
